The Cold Brew Coffee Float.

My mind was completely blown a few weeks ago at my favorite coffee shop in San Francisco, Sightglass, when I discovered the concept of a cold brew float. It’s the ultimate combination of two of my very favorite things to create pure perfection. Done. Sold. Take my $7 now.

Soon after this wonderful discovery, I became completely addicted and knew I had to make ’em for myself at home to get my fix. Good news? They’re super simple.

What You’ll Need:

  • Your favorite flavor of gelato (I kept it simple with Tahitian Vanilla Bean but I’ve also had Salted Caramel at Sightglass which was fabulous)
  • Cold Brew coffee, homemade or store bought
  • Sparkling water

Start with a scoop of gelato in the bottom of your glass and slowly pour the cold brew coffee over until glass is about 2/3 full. Top with another scoop of gelato and finish with a bit of sparkling water to add some fizz. Grab a straw and enjoy the most magical, creamy coffee drink around.
