You may have noticed a little something different in last week’s outfit post… After squinting for way too long, I finally broke down and got glasses. Lucky for me this decision corresponded with Warby Parker’s Class Trip stop in Chicago – they’ve turned a school bus into a glasses boutique and are making stops across the country to make it even easier to pick your perfect pair.

After trying on countless pairs and playing around with the photo booth, I finally made the tough decision and went with the Ainsworth’s in Walnut Tortoise (a classic). I’m still very much getting used to wearing glasses – for the first week or so I felt like I was wearing sunglasses indoors which resulted in paranoia that everyone was staring at me. I’ve started to embrace the frames and happen to think a great pair of glasses makes for the perfect accessory.
